FOCOR was founded in 1962 with the initial activity of importing and distributing dyes for the textile industry. Subsequently, it gradually extended its range of products and diversified in order to serve other industries.

Its commercial activity is currently divided into three departments: Textiles, Plastics and Industrial Chemicals.

The first two are responsible for marketing the chemical products (specialities) used in the respective Textile and Plastics industries, while the third groups together a wide range of chemicals intended for different industries – Textiles, Paints, Varnishes, Pharmaceuticals, Ceramics, Food, etc. and which are, for the most part, high-volume products (“commodities”).
